Abia State Civil Service Commission Recruitment

The Abia State Government has approved the recruitment to fill various public service positions in the State. The Executive Governor of Abia State has given approval for the immediate recruitment of officers into the state civil service. This 2024 recruitment is open to qualified candidates who are interested in working with the Abia State Government. The Abia State Civil Service Commission (CSC) invites eligible individuals to apply for the available vacancies.

Abia State Civil Service Recruitment Requirements 2024

  • Applicants must be Nigerian citizens and of Abia State origin
  • Possess a valid means of identification, such as a NIN slip, national ID card, voter’s card, driver’s licence, or international passport
  • Hold a degree (second class lower), HND/OND (lower credit), or NCE (merit)
  • Have SSCE (WAEC, NECO, GCE, or equivalent) with not more than two sittings, including English and Mathematics
  • Have a NYSC Discharge Certificate or NYSC Exemption Letter
  • Be computer-literate (this is an added advantage)
  • Be between 18 and 45 years old
  • Be ready to work in any Local Government area within the State

How to Apply for Abia State Civil Service Recruitment 2024

Eligible candidates are to visit the Abia State Government CSC application portal at https://abiastate.gov.ng and fill out the application form with the required personal and academic information. The CSC also requires candidates to upload their documents and academic qualifications, including CV, a recent passport photograph, and other relevant professional documents.

Vacant positions candidates choose will determine the academic qualifications they upload to the portal. Do not submit multiple applications as this will lead to disqualification. Apply for only one position. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview. The recruitment process is free, and no payments should be made. Candidates making payments will be reported to the relevant authorities.

Abia State CSC 2024 Interview Date

Shortlisted candidates must attend the interview with originals and photocopies of their First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC), WAEC, NECO or equivalent, Birth Certificate, First Degree Certificate or equivalent, NYSC Discharge Certificate or Exemption Certificate, Local Government of Origin Certificate, ID card, and one recent coloured passport photograph.

Ensure your application is completed before the portal closes in two weeks. Late applications and submissions outside the official portal will not be accepted.
