Abia State Ministry of Education Teachers’ Interview Schedule

The Abia State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education has set the cut-off mark for the 2025 teachers’ recruitment Computer-Based Test (CBT) at 45%. Candidates who meet this score will proceed to the oral interview, scheduled from March 31 to April 4, 2025.

All applicants must log in to their dashboard to check their assigned interview batch, date, time, and venue. It is mandatory to appear at the venue with both original and photocopies of required documents.

Candidates must provide a birth certificate or age declaration affidavit, local government area (LGA) certificate, and three passport photographs with a white background. They should also bring all academic certificates, including FSLC, WAEC, NCE, degree certificates, postgraduate diplomas, master’s degrees, or Ph.D., if applicable. Other required documents include a Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certificate, NYSC discharge or exemption certificate, BVN printout, NIMC card or certificate, and a printout of their CBT score.

The ministry has instructed that original documents should be neatly arranged in an office flat file, while photocopies should be placed in a traditional paper file. Plastic files are not permitted.

The interview will be held at the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, New Government Secretariat, Ogurube Layout, Umuahia, Abia State.
