Benue State SUBEB recruitment 2024 for basic education teachers — Benue. The Benue State Government has approved the recruitment of basic education teachers in all Local Government Areas. The Benue State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) is responsible for this recruitment. The purpose of this exercise is to address the shortage of teachers in primary and junior secondary schools across the state.
Benue State SUBEB Recruitment 2024
The Benue State Government has announced openings for teaching positions in basic schools. This recruitment will take place over two weeks. Positions are available for those with qualifications such as the Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE), Bachelor of Science in Education (B.Sc Ed), Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), and Bachelor of Arts in Education (B.A Ed).
If you have these qualifications and are interested in teaching in basic schools, you are encouraged to apply through the Benue State primary school teachers’ recruitment portal. The official portal will be provided in this guide.
After the screening process conducted by SUBEB, candidates will be able to check if their names are on the list of shortlisted candidates. Those who are shortlisted will then attend a recruitment interview, where they will need to bring the original and photocopies of their documents and qualifications.
The recruitment is ongoing for several roles, including Headmaster, Education Officer, and Classroom Teacher.
The subjects that teachers are needed to teach are listed below:

Benue State SUBEB Recruitment Requirements 2024
To be eligible for the Benue State SUBEB recruitment, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE).
- Have at least five O’ Level credit passes in Mathematics, English, and three other relevant subjects, in no more than two sittings.
- Candidates with B.Sc (Ed), B.Ed, or B.A (Ed) are also eligible to apply.
- Be willing to teach in any local government area within the state.
- Only indigenes of Benue State are to apply.
- Applicants must not be more than 35 years old (declaration of age less than 6 months old will not be accepted).
- Candidates with TRCN registration have an added advantage
- Referees must be Benue civil servants who are on grade level 14 and above
How to Apply for Benue State SUBEB Recruitment 2024
If you meet the qualifications for the Benue SUBEB recruitment, you can apply by visiting the online SUBEB application portal at https://benuesubeb.org to apply online. You will need to register a new account using an active email address and phone number, and then fill out the online application form.
After submitting the application, print out the registration slip, as it will be needed for the next stages of the recruitment process, including the Benue SUBEB exam and interview. Only indigenes of Benue State are to apply.
