The College of Nursing Sciences National Orthopaedic Hospital, Igbobi, Lagos (NOHIL) is inviting 2024/2025 admission applications from suitably qualified candidates into Full Time Programmes of the College of Nursing Sciences (CONS) and the Federal College of Orthopaedic Technology (FECOT) as follows:
4 years ND-HND in Nursing Sciences (non-terminal programme)
2 years ND in Orthopaedic Cast Technology (OCT)/Prosthetics and Orthotics Technology (POT)
2 years HND in Orthopaedic Cast Technology/Prosthetics and Orthotics Technology
5 Years B.TECH Degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics (In Affiliation with Federal University of Technology Owerri).
College of Nursing Sciences National Orthopaedic Hospital Igbobi Entry Requirements 2024/2025
- Candidates must possess Five O’ Levels credits passes in WASSCE, NECO, or NABTEB, which must include English language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in not more than two sittings.
- Combinations of WAEC and NECO, WAEC and WAEC, or NECO and NECO are allowed.
- Applicants must be registered nurses (RN).
- Candidates must score a minimum of 150 for FECOT, 170 for CONS, and 200 for B.Tech programmes at the 2024 JAMB UTME.
- JAMB 2024 subject combination must be Use of English, Chemistry, Physics and Biology).
- HND candidates must have a National Diploma (minimum of lower credit) for the relevant Programme (POT/OCT)
- HND candidates must have evidence of one year supervised Industrial Attachment.
- Candidate must not be less than 16 years of age.
Method of Application
Interested candidates should visit https://admissions.nohlagos.gov.ng and click on Apply Now. The applicant is expected to make a payment of non-refundable screening fee of N2,000 into the College account through Remita online payment portal.
After payment, the applicant should fill out the application form and print the Application Slip. The Application Slip should be brought along with the applicant’s Birth Certificate/Sworn Affidavit of Birth, JAMB UTME printout, result slip, and one recent passport photograph on a white background to the exam venue.
Screening Exam
Date: 14th September, 2024
Venue: FECOT Lecture Theatre, national Orthopaedic Compound, Igbobi-Lagos.
Time: 10:00am prompt
College of Nursing Sciences National Orthopaedic Hospital Igbobi institution has not engaged the services of any AGENT to collect payments on its behalf. Therefore, applicants only have business with the NOHIL portal.
