The Federal Ministry of Education, Federal Scholarship Board, Abuja, has announced the application for the 2024/2025 Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan (CSFP). This scholarship is open for qualified Masters and PhD students from Nigeria.
Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan Requirements 2024
- Applicants must have 1st Class or 2nd Class Upper Division for Masters in their first Degree
- 2nd Class lower Division is accepted for PhD candidates.
- NYSC discharge or exemption certificate is required.
- Applicants must have at least two admissions from UK Universities.
- PhD candidates must attach a supporting statement from the UK University

Masters applicants should visit the CSFP registration portal https://cscuk.fcdo.gov.uk/scholarships/commonwealth-masters-scholarships.
PhD candidates should visit the CSFP registration portal at https://cscuk.fcdo.gov.uk/scholarships/commonwealth-phd-scholarships-for-least-developed-countries-and-fragile-states.
Applicants must print out their completed application form before submitting it online.
Application is free of charge and no money is required. The online applications open on the 10th of September, 2024 and close on
Tuesday, 15th October, 2024.
