Delta State SUBEB Recruitment 2024 for Basic Education Teachers — Delta. The Delta State Government has approved the recruitment of Basic Education Teachers across all Local Government Areas. The Delta State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) is in charge of this recruitment. This effort aims to fill the gap of teachers in primary and junior secondary schools.

The Delta State Government has announced vacancies for teaching positions in basic schools. The recruitment process will last for two weeks. The available positions are for individuals with qualifications like Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE), Bachelor of Science in Education (B.Sc Ed), Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), and Bachelor of Arts in Education (B.A Ed).

Delta State SUBEB Recruitment Eligibility Requirements 2024

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Hold a Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE)
  • Have at least five O’ Level credit passes in Mathematics, English, and three other relevant subjects in no more than two sittings
  • Candidates with B.Sc (Ed), B.Ed, or B.A (Ed) are also eligible to apply
  • Must not be older than 40 years old
  • Be willing to teach in any local government area within the state
  • For graduates seeking non-teaching positions, there should be evidence of NYSC Discharge/Exemption/Exclusion certificate and not letter
  • Registration with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) is an added advantage
  • Must possess a National ID Card/NIN No.
