FTH Owerri Internship Programmes notification form

Federal Teaching Hospital (FTH) Owerri Hhas announced vacancy positions for internship programmes and admission into Diploma in Anaesthesia. The Federal Teaching Hospital, Owerri is inviting applications from professionally committed Hospital Interns into its Internship Programme in the following specialties:

  • Internship in pharmacy
  • Internship in Medical Lab. Science
  • Internship in Dental Technology
  • Internship in Dental Therapy
  • Internship in physiotherapy
  • Internship in Nursing (only university graduates from January, 2017 are eligible)
  • Internship in Radiography

General Requirements

Applicant(s) must be fully registered with their different bodies and obtain current practicing license/induction certificates where applicable.

Applicant(s) are required to have completed their training and obtained genuine certificates before applying for the Internship programme.

Admission Into Diploma In Anaesthesia Programme

The candidates for Diploma in Anaesthesia must be fully registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN), should possess current practicing license throughout the period of training and NYSC Discharge or Exemption Exemption Certificate. Certificate. 

Method Of Application

Interested candidates are required to obtain application forms from the office of the Director of Administration, Federal Teaching Hospital, Owerri. All completed application forms should be addressed to the Chief Medical Director, Federal Teaching Hospital, Owerri and submitted to the Office of the Director of Administration.

Only eligible candidates will be shortlisted and invited for interview. Collection and submission of completed application forms is within six (6) weeks from the date of the publication.

Date Of Interview

All interviews will take place in the Hospital on the date to be communicated later. Candidates must present original copies of their credentials for verification.

All applicants should be wary of Invitations on Facebook and other social media purportedly asking for monetary inducement for the Chief Medical Director or any other officer as a means of gaining appointment to the above positions. Intake to trainee positions is purely on merit.
