Manchester United is inviting interested players who join its Academy to apply for the Manchester United scholarship 2024/2025. This Football Academy scholarship is open to eligible players from any country. Players who are talented and have very good potential in football have to join Manchester United Football Academy as part of the scholarship eligibility. With this Academy scholarship, young footballers will be able to reduce football costs while also playing for one of the best Premier League clubs. It also becomes easier to be noticed by other teams and get picked for the national football team. According to the Premier League rules, all players under the age of 17 must start the 2024-2025 season on a SCHOLARSHIP agreement. However, scholarship players can only sign a professional football contract after their 17th birthday.
Manchester United Scholarship Eligibility Requirements 2024
- Candidates must be registered players in the Manchester United Football Academy
- Both boys and girls must be aged between 6 to 17 years old to be eligible, but not older than the age of 21 to join the U21
- No professional contracts will be signed until players reach 17 years old

Manchester United Academy Scholarship Application Process
Manchester United offers a scholarship to their academy players every season. The 2024/2025 scholarship is ongoing. Follow the steps below to apply for Manchester United Football Academy scholarship:
- Join Manchester United Academy through its scouts, which means you have to be picked first. Please note that Manchester United does not offer any registration form as they rely on their scout recommendations. They don’t also conduct open trials
- Play well and become a key figure in Manchester United’s youth because this is the pathway that will award you the scholarship offer
- Manchester United will send you a scholarship offer
- Review and accept the scholarship offer
Eligible players have to accept the scholarship and will be given the application forms by Manchester United F.C. to fill out and submit for documentation.
You have to put in a lot of work on and off the pitch to be awarded a Manchester United scholarship once you have been registered in the academy. Of course, players will enjoy support from the academy staff to help them build towards becoming professional footballers. Eventually, eligible players will become intake Academy players for the Professional Development Phase Group.

Players have to be committed to Manchester United to qualify for the Academy scholarship. Only talented players will be recognised with this offer. Also, players can only sign professional contracts after their 17th birthday. A player is free to leave Manchester United and join a different club, but that disqualifies such a player from benefiting from the scholarship programme.
