NDLEA Shortlisted Candidates for Screening www.ndlea.gov.ng Portal List

The NDLEA (National Drug Law Enforcement Agency) has released the final lists of shortlisted candidates for the 2024 recruitment exercise for different cadres. If your name is part of the shortlisted successful candidates, you will have to report for training at the NDLEA Academy for your cadre. For example, the Narcotic Officers Basic (Cadet) is in Kotton Rikus, Jos Plateau State while the Narcotic Agent/Assistant (Trainees) are to report for their training at the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) College of Peace and Disaster Management, KM 4 Babbar-Ruga Batsari Road, Katsina State.

How to Check NDLEA Shortlisted Candidates 2024

  • Visit the link to check NDLEA shortlisted candidates via https://ndlea.gov.ng/news/recruitment
  • Click on the NDLEA update on the shortlisted candidates
  • On the next page, scroll down to the bottom. You will see a list of files according to cadres. Click on the relevant one according to your cadre to download the NDLEA shortlisted candidates PDF download free list
  • You can now go through the list to find your name

Alternatively…

  • Log into your NDLEA portal with your Application Number
  • On your dashboard, you should see a congratulatory message telling you that you have been successfully shortlisted

The best method is the first one above. The NDLEA always publishes the list on their website https://ndlea.gov.ng/news/recruitment for all the batches. All successful candidates are to report for training at their respective centres according to their groupings and on dates assigned to their groups.

NDLEA Shortlist Groups and Dates

The NDLEA also does the grouping of candidates and dates you have to report for training. So, if your name has been published on the list on the Agency’s website at www.ndlea.gov.ng, you are to report for training in groups as specified. The NDLEA will publish the respective groups according to Cadres on its website.

Documents to Bring with You to the Training Camp

All successful candidates are to report for training with the following:

  • Original and photocopy of credentials to include National Identification Number (NIN)
  • Printout of NDLEA online application reference slip
  • 4 copies of recent colour passport photograph (without cap/hat)
  • Writing materials such as biro, pencils, rulers, notebooks, and file jackets
  • 3 pairs of white (unmarked) round-neck vests and navy-blue shorts (without stripes)
  • 2 pairs of white and black socks
  • 2 pairs of pure black canvas trainers (rubber type NOT acceptable)
  • 2 white bed sheets and pillowcases
  • Two black trousers and white long-sleeve shirts
  • One blanket (grey or army green colour)
  • Two pairs of national dress or suit and casual wears with shoes
  • Bucket, cutlasses, and brooms (to be purchased when you arrive in camp)
  • Toiletries
  • Pocket money
  • Mosquito net

Successful candidates who fail to report by 6 pm on the date specified for their Cadre will be disqualified. If you are a pregnant female candidate, you will not be allowed to join the NDLEA training. Also, during the training for shortlisted NDLEA candidates, there will be a Drug Integrity Test and pregnancy test (for female candidates) at different times. Usually, it is randomly done. So, if a candidate tests positive, he or she will be withdrawn from training immediately.
