Nigeria Football Scholarship 2024-2025

1. Midas Football Academy Scholarship 2024

Midas Football Academy is known for offering scholarship opportunities to young footballers in Nigeria. This academy helps students with outstanding performance and educational results to get scholarships to top football and educational institutions in Europe and the Americas.

The academy is officially registered and affiliated with the Nigeria Football Federation and the Lagos State Football Association. Young players have the chance to showcase their talents to football coaches, agents, and scouts from Europe, Asia, North Africa, and the Americas. If you’re interested in registering, you can do so through the Midas Football Academy registration page at https://midasfootballacademy.com/page-register.

Midas Football Academy mainly targets youths from Nigeria and other West African countries. The age range for admission is between 11 and 19 years old. Recognizing that the best players often come from poor backgrounds, the academy offers free admission to players with exceptional talent. For those who are not as advanced but show potential, the academy offers a discount on fees to help them train and improve their skills.

2. SOCA Awards and Scholarships

SOCA is another institution that offers football scholarships in Nigeria to young footballers. SOCA partners with several institutions in the United States, such as Skidmore College, Loomis Chaffee, Knox College, Northwestern University, and Kiski Schools. These partnerships have enabled SOCA students to receive athletic scholarships.

To apply for SOCA scholarships, interested players can visit the SOCA application page at https://socaschool.org/apply-online/. These scholarships not only cover school fees but also provide students with the opportunity to grow academically and athletically.

3. Sports University of Nigeria

The Sports University of Nigeria was established by the Prince Ned Nwoko Foundation with an aim to groom raw talents and prepare them to compete in global sporting events such as the Olympics and World Cup tournaments. In the first year, the university plans to award scholarships to the top 100 promising students. In the second year, scholarships will be given to the best 50 students. These scholarships will focus on both sports performance and academic achievements. Those who wish to apply can do so through the Sports University of Nigeria registration portal at https://otherforms.sportsuniversity.edu.ng/auth/register.php. All applicants will automatically be considered for scholarships.

The university is set to start in the 2024/2025 academic year. Players can select from different programmes, including Certificates, Diplomas, and Degrees in sports. The university will also cover fields like Allied Sciences, Health Sciences, Management, and Social Sciences, with a total of four faculties and thirty departments.

4. MTN Nigeria Football Campaign and Events 2024

MTN Nigeria is deeply involved in the development of football in the country. MTN has created several football scholarship programmes and football camps. One of these is the NPFL/La Liga U-15 tournament which aims to find and train the best young football talents in Nigeria. The trick is to follow up on MTN’s football events. Visit their events page at https://events.mtn.ng/. Choose Sport under the Events Category, leave the Event Location blank, and then click on Search. This will show you all the active grassroots sports events, including football, that MTN is currently running in Nigeria. This website channel is very good. Please keep on posting legit updates. With time, your channel will be flooded. But the main problem you have is, you only explain about the opportunity, and you share the update as well. Try posting the link people should visit in order to proceed with the scholarship opportunity and how we can connect with the club directly. These are what people are looking for. For real, you have done a great job; keep it up and try adding the link and how people can get in contact with the club directly. Also, most agents aren’t on WhatsApp in Nigeria. Look for legit agents’ WhatsApp numbers in Nigeria. I hope I have been able to be of help. God bless you. Amen. 🙌🙏

Noted Sir. We are working on improvement in the regard. For most, we do add the links as you can see in the publications. However, we don’t hyperlink them as we do not promote the said organizations.
