Nigeria Immigration Service Recruitment 2024 — Nigeria. The Federal Government has approved the recruitment of new staff into the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) through the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB). The CDCFIB has opened the recruitment portal for people who are interested in joining the Nigeria Immigration Service. There are several positions available, including Superintendent Cadre, Inspectorate Cadre, and Assistant Cadre.

Candidates who have professional registrations in the relevant fields will have an edge during the recruitment process. The CDCFIB is looking for qualified individuals who are ready to start their careers in the Service. Candidates must be willing to work in any location within the country where they are posted.

The Board is inviting applications from qualified candidates for full-time appointments to fill the available positions.

Nigeria Immigration Service Recruitment 2024

To be eligible for the Nigeria Immigration Service recruitment, applicants must meet certain criteria. These criteria include:

  • Applicants must be Nigerians by birth
  • Applicants should have the required qualifications, which could be SSCE (WASCCE, NECO, GCE, or equivalent) or a degree (Bachelor’s, HND, ND, or equivalent) obtained in no more than two sittings and must include English and Mathematics
  • Applicants must be physically fit and have a Certificate of Medical Fitness from a Government Hospital
  • Applicants must be of good character and should not have been convicted of any criminal offense. They should not be members of any secret society, cult, or drug addicts
  • The age range for applicants is between 18 and 35 years old.
  • Male applicants should have a height of at least 1.65m, while female applicants should have a height of at least 1.60m. Male applicants should also have a chest measurement of not less than 0.87m
  • Computer skills will give applicants an added advantage
  • Have the National Identity Number (NIN)

How to Apply for Nigeria Immigration Service Recruitment

  • Visit the Nigeria Immigration Service recruitment portal at https://cdcfib.career/
  • Choose the job position that matches your qualifications
  • Complete the Federal Immigration Service application form with your details
  • Upload all the required documents, including your academic qualifications
  • Once you have completed the form and uploaded your documents, submit your application online
  • Print out the Referee forms, which must be completed by the mentioned individuals
  • Print out the registration slip

The application portal will be open for four weeks from the date the recruitment was announced. Candidates are to make sure that all documents and qualifications are ready for applications, as any document not presented at the recruitment center will not be accepted later. Candidates are only allowed to submit one application. Submitting multiple applications will result in automatic disqualification.

This recruitment registration is free, so you should not pay anyone who claims they can help you secure a job. If you are caught trying to pay someone to help you get the job, you will be handed over to the authorities.

Make sure to complete your application before the portal closes, as late applications will not be accepted. Beware of fake websites that may claim to represent the CDCFIB. Only use the official portal, cdcfib.career, to apply.

All shortlisted candidates will be informed about the next stage of the recruitment process through their email and SMS. After the Nigeria Immigration Service releases the list of successful applicants, there will be a computer-based test (CBT) as part of the selection process.
