Nigeria Navy Recruitment

The Nigerian Navy recruitment 2024 Batch 36 exercise is ongoing. It will begin with screening of applicants’ credentials and followed by an aptitude test. These will be held at designated centers across the country. The exact date for these events will be announced later by the Navy Secretary.

Applicants must not submit more than one online application. If you submit multiple applications, you will be disqualified automatically. Also, do not pay money or offer gifts to anyone to help you with this recruitment process. If you are caught, you will be disqualified.

Nigerian Navy Recruitment Requirements 2024

  • You must be a citizen of Nigeria by birth
  • For School Certificate holders, you must be between 18 and 22 years old. For higher qualifications (such as Nurses, NCE, OND, drivers), you must be between 18 and 26 years old
  • Candidates must NOT be married or have children
  • Applicants must have no previous criminal convictions
  • Applicants must not have eye problems, ear problems communicable diseases, mental problems, stammering or any physical disability
  • People with Tattoos are not allowed
  • Height requirement for Males must be at least 1.69 meters tall or 1.65 meters tall for Females.
  • Applicants must have one of the following academic qualifications, including the West African School Certificate/Senior Secondary School Certificate (not more than 2 sittings and not older than 6 years from the date of application), General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level, National Examination Council (NECO), National Business and Technical Examinations (NABTEB), WAEC City and Guilds or London City and Guild, Ordinary National Diploma (OND), or any other equivalent educational qualification
  • You must produce your primary school leaving certificate at the selection interview
  • You must provide your National Identification Number (NIN)
  • The entry requirement into specific categories (B1, B2, B3, B4, B5, C1, D1, D2, D4, D5, D6, E1, E2, E3, E4, F1, G, H) is SSCE or equivalent. Higher qualifications will only be considered as an added advantage but will not provide any extra benefit

Any qualifications you do not submit now will not be accepted during the recruitment process.

Nigeria Navy Recruitment Application Process 2024

  • Go the the Nigerian Navy recruitment application portal at www.joinnigeriannavy.com
  • Fill the application form with your correct information
  • Print out the Parent/Guardian Consent Form and the Local Government Attestation Form. These forms must be properly completed, endorsed, and presented during the interview

It is as simple as completing and submitting the Application Form online. Make sure you follow all instructions and meet all requirements to be considered for the Nigerian Navy Batch 36 Recruitment.

Documents to Bring to the Navy Recruitment Centre

Applicants must bring the following documents to the recruitment centers:

  • Photocopies of your Birth Certificate or Age Declaration
  • Photocopies of all your educational and professional credentials
  • A completed Identification form which must be signed by the Chairman or Secretary of your Local Government Area (LGA). It can also be signed by an officer of the rank of Commander or above in the Nigerian Navy, Nigerian Army, or Nigerian Air Force. A Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) or above from your State of Origin can also sign the form
  • A completed Parent/Guardian consent form signed by your parent or guardian
  • Four passport photographs signed and stamped at the back by one of the officials mentioned above (Chairman/Secretary of LGA, Commander, CSP)
  • Bring the scratch cards for your NECO and WAEC results

If you submit false or forged documents, it will be considered an offense. Such documents will not be accepted during or after the recruitment exercise. Only qualifications obtained under proper service provisions are acceptable while in the Nigerian Navy. You will also be handed over to the law enforcement agency for prosecution.

The date for Navy recruitment Aptitude Test will be posted on the Nigerian Navy portal later.
