Ogun State College of Nursing Sciences (OGCONS) has released the admission form for the 2024/2025 academic session. This is to inform the general public that the college has commenced the sales of form for 2024/2025 into the following programmes:
ND/HND Nursing
Basic Nursing
Basic Midwifery
Community Midwifery
Post Basic Nursing
Post Basic Midwifery
Refresher Basic Nursing
Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their applications before the 2024 deadline.
Ogun State College of Nursing Sciences Requirements for Admission 2024/2025
- 5 O’Level credits in not more than two sittings, including English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics in WAEC or NECO. NABTEB allowed for Basic Nursing. Community Midwifery requires 4 credits at not more than two sittings including English Language, Biology and two science subjects.
- ND Nursing programme is through JAMB with subject combinations, including Use of English, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- No JAMB required for Basic Nursing and Midwifery.
- Post-Basic Nursing applicants must be Registered Midwives with a current practising licence
- Applicant for Community Midwifery MUST be a female Indigene of Ogun State and a resident of her community in Ogun State.
- Refresher Basic Nursing applicant must have evidence of elimination at Final Qualifying Examination conducted by the NMCN.
Ogun State College of Nursing Sciences Application Process for 2024/2025
Interested ND applicants would have selected Ogun State College of Nursing Sciences as their choice of institution and uploaded their results to JAMB CAPS. Successful ND candidates who meet the minimum cut-off marks will be invited for Screening/Interview by the College. Management
Others should visit the OGCONS e-portal at https://ogcon.edu.ng and click on Apply Online in the Menu section. From the drop-down, the candidate can select and apply for a preferred programme (as the case may be).
The applicant will be required to complete an 2024 application fee payment via the portal. After successful application, the candidate should print out the Application Acknowledgement Slip for the entrance exam.
Applicants are advised to bring along their original credentials and the screening/examination form to the scheduled screening exercise.
The portal for the 2024 academic session will open for registrations on the specified date on the admission form. The closing date for registration is also indicated on the notification slip.

All candidates are required to visit their respective campuses for the screening exercise. Also, note that the application form availability is different for each programme.

Once the Entrance Exam result is released, applicants are expected to check their exam score and admission status by visiting the e-portal and logging into the accounts.
Ogun State College of Nursing Sciences has not authorised any agents for admissions in any of its Schools. Therefore, candidates who choose to engage with unauthorised agents do so at their own risk.
