Ogun State Student Bursary OgunEduCASH 2024/2025

The application for the student Bursary for Ogun State indigenes tagged OgunEduCASH is now ongoing. The Governor of Ogun State has approved the payment for the 2024/2025 Bursary Scholarship Award.

The Governor of Ogun State has approved the immediate payment of a special grant. This grant is tagged ‘Ogun State Educational Cash Award for Student Help’ (OgunEduCASH). It is specifically for Ogun State indigenes studying in tertiary institutions across Nigeria.

Ogun State Student Bursary 2024

The bursary award is for the 2024/2025 academic session. Eligible students must be enrolled in state or federal government-owned tertiary institutions. The bursary will be given to Ogun State students in various tertiary institutions across the country. Institutions across Nigeria are asked to direct the appropriate organ within their institution to compile a list of students who are from Ogun State. These indigent students, who are in tertiary institutions nationwide, will receive an education grant of N50,000 each.

Ogun State Student Bursary Eligibility Requirements 2024

  • Students must be indigenes of Ogun State
  • Only students who are currently enrolled in a state or federally-owned institution can apply
  • Indigent students both within and outside the state are eligible and will receive payment

How to Register for Ogun State Student Bursary

  • The Ogun State government will contact your institution with the notification
  • Your institution will set up an organ to collect necessary information such as matric No, JAMB registration No, full name (surname first), LGA, level, bank name, and account number
  • Once the institution forwards the list back to the Ogun Government, students will be paid accordingly

Payments for the bursary award have already started. The Governor has ordered an immediate, phased disbursement of the award. The money will be paid directly into the accounts of Ogun State students, as approved by the Governor. Payments will continue until the entire process is completed.
