Oyo State Civil Service recruitment 2024—Oyo. Oyo State government has approved the recruitment of 791 officers of various cadres into the state’s Civil Service. This recruitment is part of the state government’s efforts to reduce unemployment in Oyo State. The Oyo State Civil Service Commission (CSC) is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates across the State. This recruitment will be the State’s highest into the mainstream of the civil service in the last two decades.

Oyo State Civil Service Commission Recruitment 2024

The Oyo State Civil Service Commission has announced the start of recruitment for 2024. The recruitment process was confirmed in a statement by the Chairman of the Oyo State Civil Service Commission. Candidates who are interested in applying are to follow this guide to help them through the process.

The Oyo State Civil Service Recruitment application form is out and is available on the official Oyo State website.

The recruitment will include 230 education officers and 561 officers in various other departments within the civil service. This recruitment targets candidates in 35 teaching subjects for the Ministry of Education-controlled schools and 45 different cadres within the core civil service.

Oyo State Civil Service Commission Recruitment Requirements 2024

Before applying for the Oyo State Civil Service recruitment 2024, candidates are to make sure they meet the following requirements:

  • Applicants must be indigenes of Oyo State
  • At least five (5) credits in O’Level results, including Mathematics and English Language, in not more than two sittings
  • Applicants must possess a university degree in any field from a recognized institution with a minimum of a second class lower division, while those applying for cadres requiring a Higher National Diploma certificate must be polytechnic graduates with a minimum of lower credit. For some positions, a higher degree, such as a Master’s degree, may be required
  • Applicants for positions requiring the Nigeria Certificate in Education must have graduated with a minimum of merit
  • All university and polytechnic graduates must possess NYSC (National Youth Service Corps) discharge certificates or exemption certificates
  • Applicants should be computer-literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Applicants must not be older than 35 years at the time of application
  • Applicants with criminal records and no good character will be disqualified
  • Must be medically fit and provide a certificate of medical fitness from a recognized government hospital.
  • Two (2) recent passport photographs
  • A valid means of identification, such as a National ID card, International Passport, or Driver’s License, is required

How to Apply for Oyo State Civil Service Commission Recruitment 2024

Prospective applicants should apply through the State Government’s job portal https://www.jobportal.oyostate.gov.ng from Monday, October 7 to Friday, October 11, 2024.

Register on the application portal by creating an account on the website, and Aenter all personal and academic information. You will also upload documents, such as certificates, passport photographs, and a valid means of identification.

Click Submit and print out the confirmation slip. Successful candidates will receive employment offers and be placed in different government agencies or departments based on their qualifications and the service’s needs.

Applicants who qualify in this first stage will proceed to further stages before attending an interview conducted by the Civil Service Commission and the Ministry of Establishment and Training.
