Portal: Abia State Begins Free ABSSIN Registration for All Residents

The Abia State Government is registering all people living in the state for a new identity number called ABSSIN. This is being done through the Ministry of Budget and Planning. The goal is to build a database that will help the state plan better and bring development to the people.

ABSSIN means Abia State Social Identification Number. It is a special number that will be given to every person living in Abia State. This number will help the government know who lives in the state and how to provide services to them.

When you register for ABSSIN, you can get many benefits. These include social welfare support, healthcare, student scholarships, and other government programs that help people.

“The government wants to make sure that the right people get the right help,” an official said. “With ABSSIN, it will be easier to provide support to those who truly need it.”

Many trained workers will come to different places to register people. They will visit homes, offices, shops, markets, motor parks, schools, churches, and communities. You do not need to go anywhere to register; they will come to you.

ABSSIN is for everybody, from newborn babies to elderly people. It is completely free. If anyone asks you for money to register, report them immediately.

You can also register by yourself online. Just go to abiapay.com and follow the simple steps.

“Don’t wait,” another official said. “Register today and help Abia State grow stronger.”

By registering, you are helping the government serve you better. ABSSIN will make sure that resources reach those who need them. It will help the state plan for the future and improve the lives of the people.
