Applications are invited from qualified nurses for admission into the Post Basic Mental Health/Psychiatric Nursing Training Programme for the 2024/2025 academic session. The duration of the course is 18 months.
School of Psychiatric Nursing Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital Calabar Admission Requirements 2024/2025
- Candidates must possess a Registered Nurse (RN) Certificate and any other relevant certificates.
- Applicants must have five O’level credits, including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, in no more than two sittings.

Interested candidates can download the application form from https://fspmhnursingcal.net or obtain it from the Federal School of Mental Health Psychiatric Nursing, Mary Slessor Avenue, Calabar. A non-refundable application fee is required, as indicated on the form.

Candidates should pay the fee via the REMITA platform to Federal Psychiatric Hospital, Calabar-School Fees/Charges at any commercial bank.
Completed forms, along with photocopies of certificates and proof of payment, must be submitted before the deadline indicated on the form.
Hostel accommodation is available for successful students.
