Recruitment at the SEC fall under the following classifications: Director-General and Chief Executive, Office of the Secretary to the Commission, and Departments such as System Audit, Financial Audit, and Budget Control.
SEC Recruitment Eligibility Requirements
- Be a Nigerian citizen
- Hold a valid form of identification, such as a National Identification Number (NIN)
- Be between 18 and 45 years old
- Possess a minimum of HND, B.Sc., NCE, or OND from an accredited institution
- Have at least five credits in WASSCE, NECO, or GCE, obtained in no more than two sittings
- Present a valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate
- Be free from criminal records and possess a reliable referee
- Be computer literate, with skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software
- Have a strong understanding of securities markets and investor protection
- Provide a medical fitness certificate from a government-recognised hospital
- Technicians and drivers must possess a trade test certificate or a valid driver’s licence.
