Admission into the University of Benin Teaching Hospital UBTH Basic Midwifery Programme for 2024/2025 academic session is ongoing. Applications are invited from the public for admission into the School of Midwifery, UBTH, Benin City, for the 2024 session. The duration of the course is three years.
UBTH Midwifery Entry Qualifications 2024/2025
- Applicants must be between 16 and 34 years of age.
- Candidates must possess five credits in not more than two sittings in WAEC/NECO, NABTEB, SSCE/GCE, or O-level. Subjects must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.
UBTH Midwifery Method of Application 2024/2025
Application forms can be obtained from the office of the Principal/Head of Department (School of Midwifery) after providing evidence of payment of the non-refundable fee as indicated on the form. The fee is payable to the UBTH account through TSA, using the REMITA platform at any bank in Nigeria.
Alternatively, applicants can make direct payment at the UBTH Revenue Unit. An additional payment of N200 must be made to the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria, Edo State Committee, Account No. 2004854377, First Bank.
Please note that the sale of forms for 2024 begins on the date indicated on the form. All forms must be obtained from the office of the Principal/Head of Department. Completed forms must be submitted before the entrance examination date.

UBTH does not sell the School of Midwifery forms online. Candidates are responsible for their own accommodation and feeding during the exam.
