Unilesa Admission Requirements

The University of Ilesa will admit candidates for the 2024/2025 academic session under the following conditions:

• Eligibility for Post-UTME Screening: Candidates who chose the University of Ilesa as their first choice in the 2024/2025 JAMB UTME and scored 160 or above are eligible to apply for the post-UTME screening. Those who did not initially choose the University but wish to change their institution to Ilesa can do so on the JAMB CAPS portal if they meet the score requirement of 160 or above.
• O’Level Requirements: To be eligible for admission, candidates must have credit passes in at least five (5) relevant subjects, including English and Mathematics, in not more than two (2) sittings in WASSCE, NECO, NABTEB, or the Senior Arabic and Islamic Secondary School Certificate Examinations (SAISSCE).
• Age Requirement: Candidates must be at least 16 years old by the time of admission.
• Direct Entry: Direct Entry candidates will be processed in line with JAMB guidelines. Candidates must apply via JAMB’s admission platforms and pay a screening fee of ₦2,000 to the University’s dedicated account.

How to Apply for Unilesa

Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria are to apply through the University’s portal by following the steps below:

1. Visit the University of Ilesa admissions portal at https://admissions.unilesa.edu.ng.
2. Pay the screening fee of ₦2,000, excluding portal access charges, through the portal.
3. Fill out the application form by providing the necessary personal information, including a passport photograph (200×200 pixels and not more than 200kb in size).
4. Complete the biodata and qualification forms.
5. Print the preview page to conclude the application process.

Application Deadline – The application form for the 2024/2025 academic session will close on Friday, 30th October 2024.

Acceptance of Admission – Candidates offered admission will be notified through JAMB’s CAPS and the University’s portal. Candidates are expected to accept their admission offers on the JAMB CAPS portal upon receiving notification.
