The University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH) schools’ forms are out for 2024/2025 admission. Admission is currently ongoing into the following UITH programmes:
Post Basic Nursing (Nephrology, Paediatric, Ophthalmology, and Basic Accident and Emergency Nursing)
Basic Nursing
Orthopedic Cast Technology (OND)
Community Health Officers
School of Postgraduate Health Information Management (SHIM)
Admissions are open for the 2024/2025 academic session, and interested candidates are encouraged to submit their applications before the 2024 deadline.
University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital Schools Requirements 2024/2025
- Applicants must have at least 5 credits in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics in either WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB, in not more than two sittings.
- Awaiting SSCE result is not accepted.
- ND applicants must have sat for the 2024 UTME exam, and scored at least 150 in the 2024 UTME.
- HND applicants require ND in General Nursing Programme and a minimum of CGPA of 2.0 (pass) at ND level.
- Post Basic Nursing and Post Basic Midwifery applicants must present evidence of registration with Council and possess 2 years’ post-graduation experience and current license.
- Be at least 17 years of age.
- Candidates who do not have a JAMB UTME score can apply for the School of Basic Nursing.

Candidates are to pick a preferred programme and begin the application process. The application fee is indicated on the form, and must be paid to the specified bank account.
Candidates must make sure that Remita payment is made using their name as the payer. After submitting the application forms online, the applicant should print out the summary page and bring it to the venue of written/oral examination.
The 2024 application fee and dates are different for the various programmes.
UITH Schools Screening Exam 2024/2025
The screening exam for 2024 is scheduled based on the date provided on the admission form. The University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital Schools will conduct the exam using a computer-based test (CBT) format, followed by an oral interview.

UITH Schools online sales of admission forms take place on the online portal. The School does not have any admission agents. Therefore, applicants are advised to be cautious and only register on the school’s website.
