- Candidates must have at least five (5) O’Level credit passes, including Mathematics and English Language, in no more than two sittings
- Applicants must hold an NCE, B.Sc (Ed), B.Ed, or B.A (Ed) in relevant subjects
- Applicants must be at least 22 years old but not older than 45 years old.
- Candidates must be ready to teach wherever they are deployed within any local government in the state
- Applicants must be physically and mentally fit for the teaching role
- Computer literacy is an added advantage
- Applicants must have good communication skills
