Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (LASUBEB) recruitment 2024 — Lagos. The Lagos State Government has approved the recruitment of Basic Education Teachers through the Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (LASUBEB). This recruitment will take place across the various Local Government and Development Areas in the state. LASUBEB is committed to hiring qualified teachers to ensure that pupils in public schools across Lagos receive quality education.

Lagos State SUBEB Recruitment 2024

The Lagos State Government has outlined plans to recruit teachers as part of its ongoing commitment to enhancing the standard of education in the state. The recruitment exercise is planned to last for two weeks week and will be carried out across the state. This recruitment is specifically for qualified people with qualifications such as NCE, B.Sc (Ed), B.Ed, and B.A (Ed). Those who have applied for teaching positions in Basic Schools are strongly encouraged to participate.

Once candidates have been screened by LASUBEB, they will need to check the list at their respective Local Government Education Authorities to see if their names are listed. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a recruitment interview and should come prepared with their original certificates.

Lagos State SUBEB Recruitment Eligibility Requirements 2024

To be eligible for this recruitment, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Candidates must have at least five (5) O’Level credit passes, including Mathematics and English Language, in no more than two sittings
  • Applicants must hold an NCE, B.Sc (Ed), B.Ed, or B.A (Ed) in relevant subjects
  • Applicants must be at least 22 years old but not older than 45 years old.
  • Candidates must be ready to teach wherever they are deployed within any local government in the state
  • Applicants must be physically and mentally fit for the teaching role
  • Computer literacy is an added advantage
  • Applicants must have good communication skills

How to Apply for Lagos SUBEB Recruitment 2024

Candidates should follow these official steps to apply:

  • Visit the online application portal at https://lasubeb.lg.gov.ng/
  • Use your active email address and phone number to create a new account
  • Complete the online application form
  • Upload the required scanned copies of your documents and academic qualifications
  • Submit your application online on the portal
  • Print out the registration slip. This slip is important for the next stages of the recruitment process, including the LASUBEB exam and interview

Candidates should ensure that all uploaded documents are clear and that their credentials are attached as required. Any candidate caught attempting to solicit favors or making payments in exchange for the teaching job will be handed over to the authorities, and their application will be disqualified.

Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email and will be required to take a CBT exam. LASUBEB will conduct a recruitment interview for these candidates. The interview will be thorough and conducted in line with the directives of the Lagos State Government.
