Ekiti State scholarship 2024/2025 academic session — Ekiti. The Ekiti State scholarship for the 2024/2025 academic session is open for students to apply. This scholarship is approved by the Ekiti State Scholarship Board to support students in paying for their education. It is open to all indigene students of Ekiti State. The Scholarship Board will award scholarships to qualified students already pursuing various courses in their second year and above in Universities, Polytechnics, Colleges of Education, and other tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
Ekiti State Scholarship 2024/2025
This scholarship is for students who have already completed their first year of study. It is for those in their second year and above in Universities. Each qualifying student who is of Ekiti State origin will receive the following scholarship sum:

The scholarship is awarded for one academic session. The scholarship is available only to full-time students in Federal, State, and Private tertiary institutions in Nigeria. Part-time students or those enrolled in short courses are not eligible for this scholarship.
The Ekiti State scholarship also makes provisions for less-privileged and physically challenged students who are enrolled in public tertiary institutions. Students with physical disabilities are eligible to apply for this scholarship, and it is restricted to Ekiti indigenes alone.
Ekiti State Scholarship 2024/2025 Requirements
- Applicants must be indigenes of Ekiti State
- The scholarship is only for students who are studying full-time in tertiary institutions in Nigeria. Part-time students or those enrolled in pre-degree or certificate courses are not eligible
- Applicants must have completed at least one academic session in their current institution. The scholarship is only for students in their second year and above
- Students must maintain a minimum CGPA of 4.0 if they are in a University, or 3.5 if they are in a Polytechnic or College of Education.
- The scholarship is specifically for financially disadvantaged students
- Indigent students studying within and outside Ekiti State can apply
- Students with physical disabilities must provide proof of disability
- Students in the 2nd year of the NCE/OND and HND programme must have a minimum of 3.5 CGPA in the previous examinations, except for those in Health and Medical-related courses
- All applicants for the Undergraduate Scholarship must be in their 2nd year or above, and must have at least 4.0 CGPA score in the previous examination
- All applicants for the Postgraduate Scholarship should have at least a 2nd Class Upper Division at First Degree or Upper Credit at HND Level.
How to Apply for the Ekiti State Scholarship 2024/2025
- Go to the official Ekiti State Student scholarship registration portal at https://scholarship.ekitistate.gov.ng/
- Complete the application form with accurate information.
- The completed application form MUST be submitted within the stipulated period as contained in the advertisement on the official Ekiti Scholarship Board website
Applicants must submit certified copies of the following documents along with the application form, including school fee payment receipts, school ID card, letter of identification, certified transcript by the Registrar of the school, certified copies of credentials, and Certificate of Local Government origin.
The Ekiti State Scholarship Board will review all the information submitted. They will verify that students are still enrolled in their institution before they approve and release the scholarship funds. Students’ applications will be approved, and the scholarship funds will be paid into their accounts.

This scholarship can be renewed each year, but only if students maintain good academic performance. Students must continue to meet the required CGPA to keep receiving the scholarship. The Ekiti State Scholarship Board expects that students who receive the scholarship will remain focused on their studies and continue to perform well academically.
