The Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), under the Federal Ministry of Education, requires all teaching qualification holders to pass a pre-qualifying examination (PQE). This exam must be passed before a certificate and teaching licence can be issued.
TRCN Registration Deadline 2024
The deadline for TRCN registration 2024 is at the end of October.
TRCN Examination Date for 2024
The TRCN exam is scheduled for November 2024.
TRCN PQE Exam Requirements 2024
- School certificate or statement of result
- National Identification Number (NIN)
- Birth certificate or age declaration
- Passport photographs
- HND holders cannot register unless they also have an NCE, PDE, or PGDE in addition to the HND.
Candidates who pass the exam will receive their TRCN certificates after paying the following fees:
