Edo State INEC recruitment is ongoing for 2024 election. INEC is inviting interested candidates to submit their applications for vacancies for Ad-hoc staff for Edo elections on the INEC PRES portal.

Edo State INEC Recruitment

Interested and qualified candidates are urged to apply to serve as Ad-Hoc staff for the Edo Governorship Elections in the following categories:

  • Supervisory Presiding Officers (SPOs)
  • Assistant Presiding Officers (APOs)
  • RAC Managers
  • Presiding Officers (POS)
  • Registration Area Technicians (RATECHs)

Eligibility Criteria for Ad-hoc Staff Recruitment Edo State Elections

Ad-hoc Position Source Institution / Qualification
SPOs
Fed Public/Civil Service/MDAs Permanent Staff on GL 10-14
INEC Staff RAOs & other INEC permanent staff not engaged in any other duties (GL 09-14)
POs, APOs (I, II, III)
NYSC Serving Corps members
Former NYSC Not later than 2024
INEC Staff INEC permanent staff on Grade Level 07 & 08
MDAs (Federal and State) Permanent Staff with OND or on GL 07-10
RAC Managers
The school/institution hosting the RAC Head of school or suitable staff on GL 07 and above
RATECHs
INEC Staff Suitable INEC ICT staff (States & HQ) not engaged in any other election duties
  • Applicants must not be a political party member.
  • Applicants must not have demonstrated or expressed support for any candidate or party.
  • Applicants must reside in the STATE selected except for RATECHS.

Edo INEC Method of Online Application 2024

Interested applicants are to register via the INECPRES portal: https://pres.inecnigeria.org. The portal opens on 15th July and closes at 12 midnight on 19th August 2024.
