Kogi Students Receive N13.6M Nelfund Loan for Tuition

The management of Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba, has confirmed receiving ₦13,615,750.00 (Thirteen Million, Six Hundred and Fifteen Thousand, Seven Hundred and Fifty Naira) from the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (Nelfund). This amount covers the tuition fees of 127 students under the Nelfund Student Loan Programme for the 2024 academic session.

The university expressed gratitude to Nelfund for ensuring a transparent and thorough selection process for the beneficiaries. The management also highlighted the positive impact of the programme on the students’ academic journey, emphasising its importance in alleviating financial burdens.

Prince Abubakar Audu University looks forward to further collaboration with Nelfund, especially concerning the disbursement of loans to the second batch of verified students for the ongoing academic session. This initiative reinforces the commitment to improving access to education and fostering academic excellence in the institution.
