Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai, Niger State, has received ₦122,966,000 from the Nigerian Education Loan Fund. This fund supports 2,375 students through the Student Loan Programme.
The Acting Vice Chancellor, Prof. Hassan Ibrahim, expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Managing Director/CEO of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund for their support towards higher education in Nigeria.
In a statement, Prof. Ibrahim said, “On behalf of the Council, Senate, Management, Staff, and Students of the University, I write to appreciate and commend His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the MD/CEO of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund for this scheme. It has greatly increased access to higher education and offered hope to Nigerian students.”
To benefit from the programme, students of tertiary institutions can apply via the Nigerian Education Loan Fund platform. Applicants must meet the requirements and provide necessary documentation.
