The Osun State Security Network and Amotekun Corps have announced the names of people chosen to join the Osun Amotekun Corps.
The selection was tough. The chosen candidates passed different tests. They were checked for physical strength, mental readiness, and ability to handle the job.
People who applied should check if their names are on the list. The list is at the Osun Amotekun Headquarters, Powerline Area, Osogbo.
Those selected must join a 1km fitness test on Friday, March 7, 2025. The race starts at the Government Secretariat Second Gate, Abeere, and ends at the Christian Pilgrim Welfare Board, near the Centre for Black Culture and International Understanding.
For this exercise, all successful candidates must wear a white round-neck t-shirt, white shorts, and white sneakers.
After the exercise, all selected candidates must report to the NYSC Orientation Camp in Ede, Osun State. They will begin their formal training there on Monday, March 10, 2025.
This is a big step in the recruitment process. The new recruits will now train to help keep Osun State safe.
