Agip undergraduate and postgraduate scholarships 2024-2025 are ongoing. Nigerian Agip Exploration Limited is a subsidiary of Eni. Eni, through its operations in Nigeria, supports education as a means of investing in youth empowerment and development. One of the ways the company does this is through the provision of scholarships for both undergraduates and post graduates. Read on to know the Agip scholarship eligibility requirements, application process, and deadline.

Agip Undergraduate and Postgraduate Scholarships

Eni’s educational support in Nigeria includes three scholarship schemes for different students, including two undergraduate and one post graduate scholarships. These scholarships will aid both full-time undergraduates and postgraduate students in Nigerian and foreign tertiary institutions.

The Undergraduate Scholarship scheme is primarily for full-time undergraduates registered in Nigerian tertiary institutions. This scholarship is effective from the first semester of the student’s first year until the end of their academic program.

Agip Undergraduate Scholarships 2024-2025

There are two main categories of Agip undergraduate scholarships:

  • Area of Operation Scholarship Award – This scholarship is available to first-year students in Nigerian tertiary institutions from communities within the company’s operational areas, specifically Bayelsa, Delta, Imo, and Rivers States.
  • National Merit Scholarship Award – This award is open to first-year degree students in Nigerian tertiary institutions who are not from the communities within the company’s operational areas.

Agip Post-Graduate Scholarship Scheme 2024-2025

The Post-Graduate Scholarship scheme provides scholarships to 30 Nigerian graduates annually. The focus is on fields of study relevant to the industry, especially those related to deep offshore operations. Unlike the other scholarships managed by the NAOC JV, the post-graduate scheme is implemented by NAE and its PSC partners. This scheme also reserves a number of awards each year for graduates applying to foreign schools to study abroad.
