Barcelona Football Academy Scholarship 2024

FC Barcelona is inviting interested players who join their Academy to apply for the Barcelona Academy scholarship 2024/2025. This is a Football Academy scholarship open to the most qualified players.

Barça Academies work with their own unique model, but it is based on the Barça methodology used in the first team. Interested players with good potential in football have to join FC Barcelona Academy. At the same time, candidates will be playing for one of the top clubs in La Liga.

It also becomes easier to be noticed by other European clubs and get invited to the national football team. Every graduate will earn a college scholarship or sign a professional contract.

Barcelona Football Academy Scholarship Requirements 2024/2025

• Candidates must be players in the FC Barcelona Academy
• Both boys and girls must be aged between 6 to under 18 years old to be eligible or be between 6 and 12 years old (for Barcelona Escola)
• No professional contracts will be signed until players reach 17 years old
• The player and their family must be living in the country of the Academy

Barcelona Football Academy Scholarship Application Process 2024/2025

FC Barcelona offers a scholarship to their academy players every new season. The 2024/2025 season scholarship is ongoing. Follow the steps below to apply for Barcelona Football Academy scholarship:

• First, use Barcelona map https://barcaacademy.fcbarcelona.com/en/about-us/map to know if there’s an academy or camp in your country
• Join the academy (you’ll have to search for their own website) or participate in FC Barcelona training camp. Alternatively, interested players can get scouted, participate in open tryouts, or join Barça Academy Clinics
• Wait for FC Barcelona to get in touch or you can participate in its open trials held every season
• Play well and become a key figure in Barcelona’s youth system, which is the fastest way to get into the youth team and become a pro player
• FC Barcelona will send you a scholarship offer
• Review and accept the scholarship offer

Eligible players have to accept the scholarship and will be given the application forms by F.C. Barcelona to fill out and submit for documentation. On the induction date, all eligible academy players will publicly put pen to paper on their respective scholarships with Barcelona Football Academy. The player will make the transition from the school to the youth teams of FC Barcelona in a few weeks.

Interested players have to put in a lot of work on and off the pitch once they have been registered. Successful players will enjoy support from the youth team staff to help them build towards their dream of becoming professional footballers.
