Bauchi State teachers recruitment 2024 is now open — Bauchi. The Bauchi State Teachers Service Board has announced that the recruitment exercise for teachers in the state is now open for applications. This recruitment is for qualified candidates who are interested in teaching in public secondary schools across Bauchi State.

This recruitment will help to increase the number of teachers in schools within Bauchi State, especially in subject areas where there is a shortage. The Bauchi State Teachers Service Board is calling on all eligible and interested applicants to apply for teaching positions in this 2024 recruitment.

Bauchi State Teachers Recruitment Requirements 2024

Candidates who wish to apply must meet the following requirements:

  • Applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) from a recognised institution
  • Applicants should NOT be older than 50 years of age
  • Candidates must possess an NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate
  • Candidates with Master’s or Ph.D. degrees are also eligible to apply
  • Candidates must be willing to be deployed to any part of the state
  • Candidates must have five O’ Level Credit Passes, including Mathematics and English Language, in no more than two sittings
  • Registration with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) and computer literacy will be considered added advantages
  • Applicants with a Higher National Diploma (HND) in relevant subjects, along with a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), are also eligible to apply
  • Persons Living with Disabilities (PwDs) are encouraged to apply

How to Apply for Bauchi State Teachers Recruitment 2024

  1. Visit the Bauchi Teachers application portal at https://www.bauchistate.gov.ng
  2. Choose the teaching position that matches your qualifications
  3. Fill out the application form
  4. Upload scanned copies of your recent passport photograph, valid identification (such as a voter card, international passport, driver’s licence, or national identification card), and academic qualifications
  5. Submit your application online
  6. Print out the registration slip for future reference

The online registration for Bauchi State teachers recruitment is free. Candidates should not pay anyone in exchange for a teaching job. Anyone caught doing so will be handed over to the relevant authorities. The application process will last for two weeks from the date of this advertisement.

Shortlisted candidates will go through a screening exam, followed by a Computer-Based Test (CBT). Only candidates who pass the CBT will be invited for an interview.
