The FC Bayern Youth Cup is a special tournament that Bayern Munich uses to scout and find talented Under 16 players. This tournament is part of a series hosted by FC Bayern partners in different countries. Each country sends a team to the world finals held at the Allianz Arena in Munich. In Nigeria, Bayern Munich works with the Voe Foundation to make this tournament possible. Since the first Nigerian edition in 2018, which was the first in Africa, over 10,000 players have taken part in the Bayern Munich Youth Cup Nigeria.
Many players have been invited to youth national team training camps. More than five players have gone on to represent Nigeria in regional tournaments and the U17 FIFA World Cup. Some of these players are now having high-paid professional careers in local Nigeria Professional League and European leagues.

Follow the steps below to register:
- Go to TicketHub at https://tickethub.ng/
- In the search box that says, “Search for an Event,” type “Bayern Youth League”
- Choose a state, either Lagos or Abuja
- Leave the time setting as All Time
- Click Search
- Open the “Bayern Munich Youth Cup” event
- Make the payment to register

How This Youth Cup Works
After an applicant signs up for the Bayern Munich Youth Cup in Nigeria, they will start the tournament preparation with a training session at Säbener Straße. Players will train under the guidance of home coaches and some FC Bayern legends. This is a chance for a player to show their talents on the FC Bayern stage for the first time. In the evening, the teams go to the Allianz Arena, where they will learn about the club’s values. A small workshop will also take place at the team hotel in the afternoon.
After the workshop, the Nigerian team get to know each other at an intercultural party. They are divided into groups for the tournament. The groups are drawn at this time for the competition.
The teams are to train again at the FC Bayern training grounds and may visit the Olympic Park and the Olympic Stadium. After the final match, there will be a guided tour of the Allianz Arena. The Bayern Munich Youth Cup ends with the MVP team’s match facing FC Bayern’s U17s. It’s a lovely experience for any footballer, so make sure to take part in this cup game.
