Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology, Ikere-Ekiti (BOUESTI) has announced the start of its 2024/2025 academic session admissions. The institution, renowned for its blend of vocational and academic programs, invites applications for its 78 available degree courses across various faculties.
According to a recent statement from the Registrar’s Office, candidates who selected BOUESTI as their first choice in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored a minimum of 140 are eligible to apply. These candidates are advised to visit the BOUESTI portal at portal.bouesti.edu.ng to complete the mandatory Post-UTME registration. Students who did not initially choose BOUESTI but wish to apply are encouraged to adjust their institution choice through the JAMB portal to proceed with the application.
Prospective applicants are reminded to upload their O’level results on their JAMB CAPS profile, as per Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) guidelines. In addition, BOUESTI outlined eligibility requirements for both UTME and Direct Entry candidates. UTME candidates must possess at least five O’Level credits, including English, Mathematics, and three relevant subjects, obtained in no more than two sittings. For Direct Entry, NCE, HND, ND, JUPEB, or IJMB qualifications are required.

Application and Payment Process
To apply for the Post-UTME screening, candidates should follow these steps:
- Visit portal.bouesti.edu.ng.
- Select the “Admissions” tab and choose “Apply for Admission.”
- Create a new account using a valid email and personal phone number.
- Verify the account through an email link, then log in.
- Complete the application form for the 2024/2025 Post-UTME.
- Enter UTME registration details, pay the application fee of N2000 online, and attach a passport photo in JPEG format.
Printing the BOUESTI Admission Letter
Once admission is offered, candidates can print their admission letter by:
- Returning to portal.bouesti.edu.ng.
- Selecting “Check Admission Status.”
- Entering the registration number, choosing the 2024/2025 session, and selecting “Degree” as the admission type.
- If admitted, they will have the option to print the admission letter. If admission status shows “Not Yet Admitted,” it may indicate the need to accept the offer on the JAMB CAPS or that admissions are being processed in batches.
