Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Recruitment 2024 — Nigeria. The Federal Government has approved the recruitment of new staff into the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) through the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB). The NSCDC, formerly known as the Nigerian Prison Service (NPS), is offering this opportunity to people who have the necessary qualifications and are interested in working for the Federal Government. Civil Defence NSCDC Recruitment 2024
The CDCFIB has opened the recruitment portal for those who want to join the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps. There are several positions available, including Superintendent Cadre, Inspectorate Cadre, Assistant Cadre, which include medical doctors, nurses, environmental technician, pharmacist, drivers, mechanic, etc.

Civil Defence Recruitment Eligibility Criteria 2024
To be eligible for the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps recruitment 2024, candidates must meet the following official criteria:
- Applicants must be Nigerian citizens by birth
- Applicants should have the required qualifications, such as SSCE (WASCCE, NECO, GCE, or equivalent) or a degree (Bachelor’s, HND, ND, or equivalent) obtained in no more than two sittings. The qualifications must include English and Mathematics.
- Must be physically fit and have a Certificate of Medical Fitness from a Government Hospital
- Must be of good character and should not have any criminal record. Candidates should not be members of any secret society, cult, or be involved in drug use
- Must be between 18 and 35 years old.
- Male applicants should have a height of at least 1.65m, while female applicants should have a height of at least 1.60m
- Male applicants should have a chest measurement of not less than 0.87m
- Computer skills will give you an added advantage
- A valid National Identity Number (NIN)

- Choose the job position that matches your qualifications
- Fill out the NSCDC application form with your details.
- Upload all the required documents, including your academic qualifications
- Submit your application online
- Print out the Referee forms, which must be filled out by the mentioned individuals
- Print out the registration slip for your records
The application portal will be open for four weeks from the date the recruitment was announced. Make sure all your documents and qualifications are ready before applying. Any document not presented at the recruitment center will not be accepted later. Also, candidates are allowed to submit only one application. Submitting multiple applications will result in automatic disqualification.
