College of Nursing Sciences Mater Misericordiae Hospital, Afikpo, CONSAF, Ebonyi State has announced the sales of admission forms for 2024/2025 admission session. Mater Misericordiae Hospital (MMH) is inviting interested candidates to submit their applications.
MMH admission is available into Basic and Post Basic General Nursing Programmes. Programmes include 3-year General Nursing Programme and the 18-month Post Basic Programme at the College of Nursing Sciences, Mater Misericordiae Hospital, Afikpo.
MMH Entry Requirements
- Candidates must be at least 16 years of age.
- Applicants must possess a Senior Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent (SSCE, NECO, NABTEB, GCE) with at least five credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology obtained in not more than two sittings.
- A Birth Certificate or declaration of age (Not Baptism Card).
- Testimonial from the last school attended.
- A letter from your Parish Priest or Pastor/Baptism Certificate.
- Marriage Certificate (if married).
- Original and photocopies of all relevant documents will be sighted during the interview.
- Three recent passport photographs.
- A valid form of identification, such as NIN, PVC, Driver’s Licence, or International Passport.
- Post Basic Nursing candidates must submit their Registered Midwife (RM) Certificate and Licence.
Method of Application
The sale of College of Nursing Sciences Mater Misericordiae Hospital forms begins on the date indicated on the notification board for 2024 at the College. The admission form and CBT exam cost N20,250 (twenty thousand two hundred and fifty naira) only. Payment should be made to First Bank, Account Number: 3016944553, Account Name: School of Nursing, Mater Misericordiae Hospital, Afikpo.
After payment, candidates are to visit the school with their bank teller to exchange it for a receipt and collect the entrance form. (Office hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 3:00 pm).
Completed forms should be returned to the school by 2024 deadline indicated on the form.
Entrance Examination
The entrance exam subjects are Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The entrance examination will be Computer-Based (CBT). Interview details will be communicated to prospective students after submission of the completed forms.
Please note that Post Basic Nursing candidates must bring their Midwifery Notification and Licences.

Candidates must bring their original payment receipt and all relevant documents to the exam. Only those who meet the entry requirements and pass the entrance examination will be eligible for an interview.
