GTB Announces OND Internship Programme 2024

·

In an effort to provide fresh OND (Ordinary National Diploma) graduates with meaningful industry exposure, GTBank has introduced its OND Internship Programme. This initiative is designed to offer hands-on training within the bank’s Transaction Services Division, where interns will learn banking operations by actively supporting daily activities. With a one-year duration, the programme is structured to give participants practical experience in a real banking environment.

The internship programme provides selected OND graduates the chance to immerse themselves in day-to-day tasks and routines of the Transaction Services Division. Interns will engage in various banking operations, gaining practical knowledge and insights into the sector. The goal is to build a strong foundation for these graduates, giving them a competitive edge for future roles in the financial industry.

Eligibility Criteria

Interested applicants must possess an OND certificate or a notification of results, alongside a one-year Industrial Training Letter issued by an accredited polytechnic. For the verification process, interns must submit a guarantor form and a copy of the guarantor’s staff ID card. If the guarantor is a GTBank employee of ABO grade or higher, only one is required. For non-GTBank guarantors, two are necessary, and they must work in reputable firms.

Additional requirements include a valid student ID, recent passport photo with a white background, a birth certificate from the National Population Commission, and a Senior School Certificate Examination (WAEC/NECO) showing a minimum credit pass in English, Mathematics, and three other relevant subjects.

Candidates should demonstrate strong communication and basic numerical skills, along with a desire to learn. Selected interns will receive an allowance throughout the programme’s duration, providing financial support as they gain valuable industry experience.
