Kwara State Bursary 2024/2025 academic session—Kwara. The application for the Bursary Scholarship for Kwara State indigenes is ongoing. The Executive Governor of Kwara State has even approved the payment for the 2024/2025 Bursary Scholarship Award. This award is specifically for Kwara State indigenes who are in their final year of study at tertiary institutions owned by either the State or Federal Government.
Kwara State Bursary Award 2024/2025
The bursary award is for the 2024/2025 academic session. However, only final-year students who are indigenes of Kwara State are eligible for this scholarship. These students must be enrolled in government-owned tertiary institutions, whether they are under State or Federal ownership.
Kwara State Bursary Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the bursary, the following criteria must be met:
- Applicants must be indigenes of Kwara State
- Only students who are currently enrolled in a State or federally-owned institution can apply
- This bursary is only available to final-year students in Federal and State-owned tertiary institutions
How to Register for Kwara State Bursary
To apply for the bursary, candidates must follow these official steps:
- Visit the official registration website at https://scholarship.kw.gov.ng/
- Click on Apply Now and fill in the application form with your information
- Check your email for a verification link. Click on this link to activate your account
- Use your email and password to log in
- Click on the link to complete the bursary form
- Scan and upload the required documents, including a recent passport photograph, local government of origin certificate, last session results (stamped and signed), admission letter, school ID card, and proof of NAKSS due payment
- Use the Bursary Record link to review your application and print it out
You have to pay a compulsory N500 (five hundred naira) only into NAKSS account and upload the evidence of payment (teller or mobile app transfer receipt is accepted). Pay into the following account:

Applicants who do not receive an email notification have to be patient. The Scholarship Board will review their applications and activate the account within 48 hours if everything is in order. They will contact applicants if there are any issues with their account information.

Application deadline is Sunday 24th March 2024.
Kwara State Bursary Payments
Payments for the bursary award have already started, and are being made directly into students’ accounts. The amount of N10,000 will be paid directly into the accounts of successful applicants, as approved by the Governor. Payments began in March and will continue until the process is completed.
