The Nigerian Police Force (NPF) screening date for 2024 is now out. After the recently concluded physical and credentials screening, the Police Commission shortlisted qualified applicants for the computer-based Test, which is conducted by the JAMB (Joint Admission and Matriculation Board). The Commission is now informing successful names about the Test date and requirements concerning the Nigeria Police aptitude test/screening exercise.

All the candidates who have seen their names in the list of selected candidates are to come to their respective screening venues on the following date.

This Nigeria Police screening exercise will take place state by state in the various centres. As a successful applicant, you have to be at the venue assigned to you for your screening exercise. If you miss your screening date, you will be automatically disqualified.

Nigeria Police Screening Date

All successful candidates who have completed the online recruitment registration into the Nigeria Police Force as police constables are invited by the Nigeria Police Recruitment Board to the automated physical/credentials screening exercise.

The screening date is scheduled to be held from Monday, January 8, to Monday, January 29, 2024. The time is 7am daily at the State Police Headquarters in your respective states of origin across the country. Don’t forget to print out your invitation slip from https://apply.policerecruitment.gov.ng/, which is the recruitment portal.

Nigeria Police Screening Requirements 2024

Candidates must appear at their screening centres with the screening requirements, neatly arranged.

  • White T-shirt and shorts
  • Evidence of physical/mental fitness from a government-recognized Medical Hospital
  • Proof of good character from the Village/District Head of the applicant
  • Certificate of Origin duly signed by the Local Government Chairman or Secretary
  • National Identity Number (NIN) (slip print-out)
  • Original and duplicate copies of credentials (O’ Level Result(s), Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age)
  • Print-out of the Police Force application form
  • Duly completed Guarantor’s form
  • Screening invitation slip

Make sure you put all your documents in two white flat files with a recent passport photograph attached. Candidates who fail to present the items or wear their required kit will not be allowed to do their screening. While you are preparing for the Nigeria Police Force screening, make sure know your scheduled date and time. Adhere to every other information at the screening venue and follow the guidelines throughout the screening exercise.
