The University of Jos has commended the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) for its exemplary efforts in supporting education through seamless loan disbursements.
In a letter addressed to the Managing Director and CEO of NELFUND, the university acknowledged the disbursement of ₦732,084,000 for the 2023/2024 academic session. This amount represents loans granted to 5,429 students, significantly easing their financial burden.
The letter, signed by the university authorities, praised NELFUND for its operational effectiveness and integrity, noting that its efforts signal hope for the Nigerian educational system. The university highlighted the smooth processing of the loans as evidence of the institution’s dedication to ensuring access to quality education.
