Interested applicants are to participate in the registration process which takes place online on the State’s official website at yobestate.gov.ng. Late registrations or registrations done outside the specified portal will not be recognised.
Yobe State Teachers Recruitment Eligibility Requirements 2024
To be eligible for the Yobe State teachers recruitment 2024, applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Applicants must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field from a recognized institution, or a Postgraduate Diploma in Education
- Applicants must possess SSCE such as WASSCE, NECO, GCE, or equivalent
- A valid teaching certificate is necessary such as the Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) or the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certificate.
- For certain positions, applicants require a diploma in special education
- Applicants must NOT be older than the ages of 22 and 35 years old at the time of application in 2024
- Applicants should be indigenes of Yobe State. Those who are not originally from Yobe State must submit a valid proof of residence within the state
- Must be of good character with no criminal record
- Good communication skills are mandatory for all applicants
- Candidates must be both physically and mentally fit to be considered for a teaching position
- Basic computer literacy is required. Applicants should be able to use computer software such as Microsoft Office tools in teaching and administrative tasks
- Teaching experience is an added advantage

The application process for the Yobe State Teachers Recruitment 2024 is conducted online. Below are the steps candidates need to follow:
- Visit the official portal of the Yobe State government recruitment at https://yobestate.gov.ng/, which is where we have the online application form
- Create a profile on the portal, and provide your name, email address, phone number, and other required information
- Log in to the portal with your newly created credentials
- Click Apply on the recruitment form
- Fill out the application form. Make sure to provide your correct information, including your education, work experience, and other relevant information
- Upload scanned copies of your educational certificates, teaching certification, and other qualifications
- Click on Submit application
- Print out the registration slip
