The Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) has announced an online portal for recruitment into the Federal Civil Service. The Commission will roll out an online recruitment portal accessible to all Nigerians. This portal will allow interested candidates to pre-fill recruitment forms and update them from time to time in preparation for job advertisements, assessments, and interviews. The application takes place on www.recruitment.fedcivilservice.gov.ng.

The FCSC Application Form for the ongoing Federal Civil Service Commission recruitment 2025 is now available. Interested applicants should ensure they meet all the requirements for a successful application. The Federal Civil Service Commission is looking for officers and other ranks to fill numerous open positions within the commission.

FCSC Recruitment 2025

All applications are to be submitted on or before Monday, 10th March, 2025 on www.fedcivilservice.gov.ng.

The Federal Civil Service Commission of Nigeria (FCSC) opened a countrywide recruitment for several Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs). The application period is from December to January.

All qualified Nigerian graduates with the following certifications are urged to apply on the FCSC commission’s website: OND, HND, BA/B.Sc., B.Ed, LLB.

FCSC application forms are available in all geo-political zones, according to a statement released in Abuja. The recruitment vacancies are available in over 70 cadres.

If you have the qualifications needed for the positions, then go ahead and fill out the application form.

FCSC Recruitment Eligibility Requirements 2025

  • Applicants must be Nigerians by birth
  • Education qualifications include OND, HND, BA/B.Sc., B.Ed, and LLB from any recognized institution. Some positions require at least a 2nd Class Degree
  • Minimum age must be 20 to 25 years for officers and 18-22 years for other ranks, with birth certificate, age declaration, or affidavit as proof
  • Applicants must submit their NYSC discharge or exemption certificate
  • Applicants must not have criminal convictions, have previously been fired, asked to resign, or retired from government service
  • Applicants who are physically challenged should state the nature of disability.
  • Computer literacy is an added advantage

How to Apply for Federal Civil Service Commission Recruitment 2025

  1. Go to the FCSC Vacancy Portal at www.recruitment.fedcivilservice.gov.ng.
  2. Click on Register an account.
  3. Click on Register after entering your information.
  4. You will receive a popup message stating “Your registration is successful. Check your email inbox to activate your registration or this email has already registered.” Check your email inbox (and spam folder) for the activation email.
  5. Click on the activation link in the email to go to the FCSC recruitment login page.
  6. Log in with your registered email (Username) and password.
  7. Once logged in, check for the available position you want to apply for and click on the Apply button.
  8. Fill out the FCSC application form.

Now, while filling out the form on the recruitment portal, you may encounter some issues like the LGA not displaying or the date box not functioning. To resolve this, try the following strategy:

  • Click on the state of origin popup.
  • Wait a little before clicking on the LGA box.
  • If the issue persists, click on another state origin and check the LGA, then try to fill in your own state origin. The LGA should display.

For the 2025/2026 FCSC recruitment, eligible candidates will undergo computer-based tests and oral interviews. The results will be collated and released in real-time according to the Commission.
