1. University College Dublin (UDC) Scholarship 2024
The first scholarship is the UDC scholarship in Ireland. This university has many interesting scholarships applicants will love to apply for. UDC has both full and partial scholarships for undergraduate students from Nigeria.

2. University of Manchester Scholarship 2024
International scholarships are also open for Nigerian undergraduate students at the University of Manchester. There are currently over 200 awards to Nigerian students who will be commencing their studies in September 2024. The total value of scholarships is estimated to be more than £3.5 million, and awards will be open to prospective bachelors applicants.
Eligibility criteria
- Must be a Nigerian
- Both masters and undergraduate applicants are eligible
- Applicants must be applying for direct first-year entry in 2024
- Applicants must have selected The University of Manchester as their FIRM UCAS choice
- Must submit an online scholarship application form by May 2024
- Only self-sponsored applicants are allowed
- Applicants for the African awards must have accepted conditional or unconditional offer to study a full-time programme at Manchester
As for the application process, the application forms are emailed automatically to all eligible applicants shortly after they receive an academic offer from the university. Unfortunately, Nigerians who have previously studied at a higher education institution in the UK are not eligible for the award.
3. UEA Nigeria Undergraduate Scholarship
UEA is the University of East Anglia, and they offer undergraduate scholarships for students from Nigeria in 2024. This scholarship is an automatic award for students from Nigeria. All successful candidates will receive a £4,000 scholarship, which will be applied to 3 years of full time study. However, the university will consider excellent submissions for £10,000 per year.
Eligibility criteria
- Applicants must hold a conditional or unconditional offer for a full-time bachelor’s degree at UEA
- Must be a Nigerian and domiciled in Nigeria
- Students who studied in the UK are not eligible
- Applicants for MBBS Medicine, BSc Physiotherapy, BSc Occupational Therapy and MSc/BSc Speech and Language Therapy are not eligible for this scholarship
- Be willing to obtain a study visa and move to the UK
Once you have received admission to study at the University of East Anglia, you’ll automatically be given the form for this scholarship application. It’ll be sent to the candidates’ email.
4. University of Regina Scholarship 2024
University of Regina (UR) offers entrance scholarships specifically for international students such as Nigerians. This is an entrance scholarship, which means you are automatically eligible to apply once you have been admitted. The scholarship value is $3,000. Students are free to choose whether they want this money in tuition or housing credit.
Eligibility criteria
- Applicants MUST have an admission average of at least 85%
- All international students applying to an undergraduate degree program are eligible
- Students are expected to continue to complete 30 credit hours per year
- Candidates must maintain a minimum UGPA of 80%
It’s actually a highly competitive scholarship as only the top 50 applicants will be awarded the scholarship. But if you want to study in UR, Canada, then still apply for it. Use this admission application portal www.uregina.ca/admissions/apply.html to apply for admission, after which you’ll be considered automatically for the scholarships.
5. Nottingham Trent University Scholarships for International Students 2024
Nottingham Trent University (NTU) welcomes Nigerians to apply for its scholarships for the 2024–2025 year. The international scholarships offered by this university are worth up to £3,000. Only competitive students are awarded this scholarship as it’s based on merit.
Eligibility criteria
- Applicants must have an offer on an eligible course at Nottingham Trent University
- Must be international students such as Nigerians enrolling for their undergraduate admissions
- Students who repeat their first year of study are not eligible for the international scholarship
- Applications received after the final deadline will not be considered
Nigerians will only be able to apply for NTU scholarships after receiving an academic offer for a course at Nottingham Trent. An application form will be emailed to candidates who will then complete and submit it on the NTU website.
