The Adamawa State Government has approved the recruitment of teachers for basic education across all Local Government Areas. The Adamawa State Universal Basic Education Board (ADSUBEB) is responsible for this recruitment exercise. This recruitment is to fill teaching positions in basic schools within the state.

The Adamawa State Government has announced vacancies for teaching positions in basic schools. The recruitment process will last for two weeks. These positions are open to candidates with qualifications such as the Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE), Bachelor of Science in Education (B.Sc Ed), Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), and Bachelor of Arts in Education (B.A Ed).
Candidates with these qualifications who are interested in teaching in basic schools are urged to apply through the Adamawa State primary school teachers’ recruitment portal.
After ADSUBEB conducts the screening process, candidates can check if their names are on the list of shortlisted candidates. Those who are shortlisted will be invited for a recruitment interview. During the interview, they must present both original and photocopies of their documents and qualifications.
The recruitment is open for several roles, including Headmaster, Education Officer, and Classroom Teacher. Teachers are needed for the following subjects:

Adamawa State DSUBEB Recruitment Requirements 2024
- A High National Diploma (HND), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree, Bachelor of Science in Education (B.Sc. Ed) degree, Bachelor of Technology in Education (B.Tech.Ed) degree, Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree, Master of Science (M.Sc) or Master of Arts (M.A) degrees from a recognised institution.
- The minimum qualification for selection is a National Certificate in Education (NCE) obtained from a recognised and accredited institution.
- HND holders are allowed to apply for technical and vocational schools, with an option to obtain a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) within three years.
- 5 O’level Credits (WAEC or NECO), including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings.
- Must not be employed with any organisation during the time of service.
- National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) certificate.
- A valid birth certificate or sworn affidavit from a court of law.
- A Certificate of Local Government of origin.
- Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) Certificate (recruited teachers have a probationary period of two years to obtain relevant certifications from the Council).
- National Identification Number (NIN).
- Applicants must be willing to teach in any local government area within Adamawa state.
How to Apply for Adamawa State ADSUBEB Recruitment 2024
All applications for these teaching vacancies must be submitted electronically using the state’s recruitment portal – https://csc.ad.gov.ng/. Paper applications will not be accepted.
The application will be followed by a CBT screening, and successful candidates must score at least 45%. Those who pass the test will attend a physical interview and document screening. Only candidates who meet all the requirements will receive ADSUBEB appointment letters.
