This announcement is to inform all qualified candidates that the Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development has directed the Post Primary Schools Management Board (PPSMB) to begin hiring new teachers. Adamawa State Teachers Recruitment Requirements 2024

  • A Higher National Diploma (HND), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree, Bachelor of Science in Education (B.Sc. Ed) degree, Bachelor of Technology in Education (B.Tech.Ed) degree, Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree, Master of Science (M.Sc) or Master of Arts (M.A) degrees from a recognised institution.
  • The minimum qualification for selection is a National Certificate in Education (NCE).
  • HND holders are allowed to apply for technical and vocational schools, with an option to obtain a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) within three years.
  • 5 O’level Credits (WAEC or NECO) including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings.
  • Must not be employed with any organisation during the time of service.
  • National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) certificate.
  • A valid birth certificate or sworn affidavit from a court of law.
  • A Certificate of Local Government of origin.
  • Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) Certificate (recruited teachers have a probationary period of two years to obtain relevant certifications from the Council).
  • National Identification Number (NIN).

How to Apply for Adamawa State Teachers Recruitment 2024

The recruitment will occur according to the 2024 schedule outlined in the announcement. Applications should be submitted to the Post Primary Schools Management Board office. The collection time for application letters is from 10 AM to 4 PM daily.

Applications should be addressed to the Executive Chairman of the Post Primary Schools Management Board through the Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development. They must be typed and include a CV and all relevant documents.

Applicants must adhere to the specified dates for different LGAs. Failure to do so will not be tolerated. No payment should be made for the job; any applicant found doing so will be reported to the authorities. The application process will last for two weeks from the date of this advertisement.

Only candidates who pass the CBT will be invited for an interview, where they must present their credentials for verification, including their Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age, academic certificates, and other relevant documents. The best candidates will be selected by the Adamawa PPSMB to teach in the state.
