The Abia State Government is now hiring teachers for primary and secondary schools, as well as technical colleges. This is to help solve the problem of not having enough teachers in these schools. The government plans to employ at least 5,000 teachers to make sure schools have enough qualified educators.

Requirements for Abia State Teachers Recruitment
- You must be an Abian or someone living in Abia State.
- You must not be older than 45 years at the time of application.
- You must have one of the following certificates:
- NCE (for primary school teaching only)
- B.Ed, B.Sc Ed, HND, or B.Sc (with NCE/PGDE/PGTED/PDE).
- If you are registered with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), it is an advantage.
- People with disabilities or medical conditions can also apply.
- You must agree to work anywhere in Abia State, including remote or riverine areas.

After submitting your application, you will receive an SMS or email if you are shortlisted. Successful candidates will take a test. If you pass, you will be invited for an interview and teaching practice.
