Federal Bursary for Students 2024/2025 — Nigeria. The application for the Federal Student Bursary is now open for the 2024/2025 academic session. The Federal Scholarship Board (FSB) will award these bursaries to students in their second year or higher at universities, polytechnics, colleges of education, and other tertiary institutions in Nigeria.

Registration for the 2024/2025 bursary is ongoing. Students studying in any tertiary institution across Nigeria can apply. The bursary is for the 2024/2025 academic session only. It is open to students in private, state, or federal government-owned institutions. The application is free, and no agents or middlemen are needed.

Federal Bursary for Students Requirements 2024/2025

  • Applicants must be Nigerian citizens.
  • Applicants must be registered students studying Education in Nigerian Colleges of Education and Universities.
  • Applicants must be full-time students.
  • All applicants, including persons with disabilities, must be in their second year or higher.
  • No award will be given if the student is receiving another award or studying part-time.
  • Beneficiaries of existing scholarships are not eligible.
  • Awards are only valid within Nigeria and begin at the start of the academic session.

How to Apply for Federal Bursary for Students 2024/2025

Interested students should visit the official FG bursary portal at https://scholarship.education.gov.ng. Choose Bursary and fill out the application form. Candidates must upload their Letter of Admission, CGPA result, National Identity Number, and State of Origin Certificate.

The Federal Scholarship Board will review all applications. Eligible students will have their accounts activated, and the bursary funds will be paid directly into their accounts. The payment process will continue until all eligible students receive their bursary awards. Unfortunately, changing of courses or institutions is not allowed during the award period.
