Applicants will be able to apply for the several positions available, including supervisory presiding officers, presiding officers, assistant presiding officers, registration area technicians, registration area centre managers, etc.

INEC Ad Hoc Staff Recruitment Requirements 2024

To apply as an INEC ad-Hoc staff, applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Must be Federal Public/Civil Service/MDAs, INEC staff, Serving NYSC members, former NYSC members, or penultimate students of Federal/State tertiary institutions in Nigeria with IT knowledge
  • Must have a degree such as ND, HND, B.Sc, or equivalent
  • Applicants must be fluent in English with strong communication skills
  • Must not be a member of any political party
  • Must not have shown support for any candidate or party
  • Must reside in the selected state of deployment
  • Must possess valid means of identification such as NIN, drivers license, national ID, or voters card

How to Apply for INEC Adhoc Staff Recruitment 2024

If you are interested in applying for the INEC Ad-Hoc staff recruitment 2024, follow these steps carefully:

  • Visit INEC Ad-hoc staff registration portal at https://pres.inecnigeria.org
  • Scroll down and click on Check Eligibility
  • Click on APPLY
  • Select one of the INEC job roles such as Presiding Officer (PO). There are others to choose from. Choose according to your qualification, such as a serving NYSC corps member
  • Complete the remainder of the INEC 2024 registration form, which will ask for your email addresses and phone numbers
  • Click on Submit and verify your account using the link sent to your email address
  • Now, log into your INEC portal account and complete your registration
  • Upload a recent passport photograph with a white background (not larger than 5MB)
  • Enter the email addresses and phone numbers of two referees
  • Enter your valid Staff ID No./Student ID No. (as shown on your ID card) or NYSC Call-up Number for former corps members
  • Upload a copy of your highest qualification in PDF format
  • Upload a copy of your means of identification in JPG or JPEG format
  • Review your INEC Ad hoc application information thoroughly
  • Click on Submit
  • Print out your acknowledgement slip

The INEC registration is online and free. Do not pay anyone who promises you a spot. If caught, candidates will be handed over to the relevant authorities. You will also be asked for your personal bank account number, which will be used for your payment.

INEC will only deploy you to the state of residence that you have selected. Let’s say you are residing in Lagos; make sure to choose Lagos as your state of residence.
