Available programmes include:
School of Post Basic Nursing (SPBNS) (National Diploma in Nursing, Higher National Diploma in Nursing, Diploma in Perioperative Nursing and Management, and Diploma in Paediatric Nursing and Management). Application is also invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into Certificate Program (CDPD).
ISTH Entry Requirements
- SPBNS applicants require five credits in no more than two sittings in WAEC/NECO/GCE O’Levels, including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.
- SPBNS applicants must be a registered nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
- SPBNS applicants must have at least one year of post-registration clinical experience in the relevant area.
- CDPD applicants must be qualified nurses or midwives, registered with the NMCN.
- CDPD Certificate will be issued by NMCN.
- No entrance exam required for CDPD admission.

SPBNS applicants should visit the Hospital website at https://www.isth.org.ng/application-form and create a profile at https://conubth.edu.ng/create-profile.
You are to pay an Application Fee of 15,000 naira only.
However, Application Fee for Certificate Programme (CDPD) is N10,000 only.
ISTH Entrance Exam Date
Examination/Interview Date: on the 16th September, 2024.
The examination and interview will be held on the date indicated on the application form.
