Admission into School of Psychiatric Nursing, Federal Neuro-psychiatric Hospital (FNPH) Benin City 2024/2025 is ongoing. The School of Psychiatric Nursing FNPH is accepting applications for admission into the Post Basic Course in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing. The course duration is 18 months, which awards students with Registered Mental Health/Psychiatric Nurse Certificate (RMHPN) by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
School of Psychiatric Nursing FNPH Entry Requirements 2024/2025
Prospective candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Must possess an RN Certificate from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
- Must have at least one year of post-qualification experience.
- Degree holders must have completed NYSC and hold a current practising licence.
- Additional nursing qualifications are an advantage.
- Must have five credits in WAEC, GCE O/L, NECO, or NABTEB in not more than two sittings. The credits must include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics.
- NABTEB cannot be combined with WAEC, GCE, or NECO.
School of Psychiatric Nursing Federal Neuro-psychiatric Hospital Method of Application 2024/2025
Applications should be handwritten by the candidates, stating their educational and professional qualifications, NYSC status (if applicable), and include photocopies of their credentials. Two recent passport photographs with a white background, an email address, phone numbers, and evidence of payment of the non-refundable application fee must also be submitted.
Payments can be made at the Revenue Unit of FNPH, Benin City, or via the Treasury Single Account (TSA) at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
